Savannah Guthrie shares Mother’s day tribute to mom Nancy
Veteran host Savannah Guthrie posted an emotional tribute for her missing mother, Nancy Guthrie, on Mother’s Day. The Today co-host shared a compilation of videos of Nancy Guthrie alongside an emotional caption.
“Mother, daughter, sister, Nonie – we miss you with every breath,” she wrote in the post. “We will never stop looking for you. We will never be at peace until we find you.”
She continued, “We need help. Someone knows something that can make the difference. Call 1800CALLFBI. You can be anonymous, and the reward remains available. Please keep praying. Bring her home.”
The 84-year-old woman went missing from her home in Tucson, Arizona, on February 1, 2026. Authorities believe she may have been taken against her will. The FBI released photos of a masked individual approaching the elderly woman’s house late that night. Guthrie and her family have since offered a $1 million reward for information related to Nancy’s disappearance.
After Nancy went missing, Savannah Guthrie took a hiatus from Today for nearly two months. She has since returned. “It’s hard to imagine doing it because it’s such a place of joy and lightness, and I can’t come back and try to be something that I’m not,” Guthrie said about her return. “But I can’t not come back, because it’s my family. I think it’s part of my purpose right now.”
Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance remains one of the most high-profile missing persons cases of the year. The search for the missing woman continues, with no major new developments reported in recent weeks.
