TLC aims to deepen fans’ love for a popular show. They are announcing the launch of a fan convention for those who can’t get enough of 90 Day Fiancé. That show has been a mainstay of the network’s lineup for over a decade, drawing countless viewers.
They want to bring all those fans together under one roof for their new 90 Day Con event. It will not only be an opportunity for fans to discuss the show they love, but also to have familiar faces from the 90 Day universe.
90 Day Con has been given the greenlight
Fans of 90 Day Fiancé are in for quite the treat. A statement from Warner Bros. Discovery, revealed by Variety, says the goal of this new multi-day event is to “extend the franchise beyond the screen and deepen year-round audience engagement.” Among the things fans attending will get to experience are “exclusive behind-the-scenes access, panels, fan experiences, social extensions, and premium opportunities for brand integration.”
Warner Brothers want to increase the engagement among fans for programs like 90 Day Fiancé. This announcement appears to be taking a page out of the Bravo playbook. BravoCon is a multi-day event that brings together fans of their popular shows. The convention for the TLC program appears to be part of the network’s objectives to take its most powerful franchises beyond its traditional programming.
The 90 Day Fiancé franchise has been hugely successful, spawning numerous spinoffs. Among them is 90 Day: The Last Resort, which recently announced its Season 3 cast. It will feature six couples who have appeared on the 90 Day Fiancé franchise.
This fan convention was announced on Wednesday during the upfront. Season 11 of 90 Day Fiancé concluded last June with a 12th season premiering earlier this month.
