Patrick Mendes and Thais Ramone Fight Over Child Custody and Support

Things are getting more chaotic between Patrick Mendes and Thais Ramone.

90 Day Fiancé fans watched the couple’s international romance play out on TLC before they married in 2022 and welcomed a daughter. Now, their relationship has completely fallen apart, and a recent domestic dispute only added more tension to an already rocky split.

Patrick already filed for divorce, making it clear the marriage was over. New court documents now show the exes are fighting over custody, financial support, and how to divide their assets.

According to newly filed court documents obtained by TMZ, Thais is pushing back against Patrick’s request for primary custody of their three-year-old daughter, Aleesi. Instead, she wants joint legal and physical custody, making it clear she does not agree with Patrick having the larger parenting role.

Thais also wants financial support. In addition to child support, she is seeking spousal support from Patrick as their divorce moves forward.

In her filing, Thais reportedly acknowledged that the marriage is beyond saving and said there is no chance of reconciliation.

Patrick and Thais married in February 2022 and welcomed their daughter in November 2022. In Patrick’s divorce filing, he stated that he earns about $10,000 per month, while Thais brings in roughly half that amount. Because of that income difference, Patrick previously said he was not requesting child or spousal support.

Patrick’s filing also included a list of assets he wants the court to award him, including the roughly $8,000 he says is in his 401(k), a Honda Ridgeline, and even the couple’s Tempur-Pedic mattress.

The divorce followed a domestic incident at the couple’s Las Vegas home, where Thais was arrested after allegedly slapping Patrick during an argument. Prosecutors ultimately declined to press charges.

A representative for the couple told TMZ, “Domestic matters can be deeply emotional and complex, and we encourage compassion, privacy, and due process for all parties involved. Our focus right now is simply ensuring that everyone is safe and supported. We appreciate the public’s understanding and ask for respect regarding their family and personal privacy during this time.”

90 Day Fiancé airs Sundays at 8/7c. Past seasons stream on Hulu, Disney+, and Max.
