However, the “Not Gonna Lie” podcast host denied the speculations. Now, as per a source, Swift and Kylie aren’t the best of friends.

According to the Daily Mail, Taylor Swift and Kylie Kelce are not super close. “They’re the same age but they just live such different lives,” an insider told the outlet. The individual continued, “Kylie is four babies in. All of [Taylor’s] friends are rich and famous and Kylie’s juggling mom duties, like, ‘I just need to go change a diaper.'” A second source shared that the ladies are in “different phases in life.”
However, per the second source, “love between them is legit.” While many insiders have rubbished rumors of a conflict, they suggested that the duo’s different personalities are the reason they aren’t close. One insider stated that the podcaster is “just not that warm so people think she’s standoffish.” The individual further added, “She’s very much like Donna Kelce. Taylor is nothing like Donna.” Moreover, a third source shared, “Now that it’s official that [Travis and Swift] are getting married, they’re starting to [get closer].”
For the unversed, Kylie once shared that the spotlight is not her cup of tea. However, things began changing for the Kelce family after the “Bad Blood” hitmaker and Travis debuted as a couple at a Chiefs game. Moreover, Jason’s documentary, in which Kylie also appeared, boosted the family’s popularity.
“The exact same moment Travis and Taylor announce they were dating; Jason’s movie came out and Kylie looked really good in it, and that was sort of the beginning of a transformation,” the third insider told the publication.
In August 2025, Kylie also praised Swift’s trending audio clip of calling out male sports fans. “There’s a trending TikTok sound from the other podcast that I can confidently say is one of the most badass things ever said on there,” she shared. Kylie added, “I love this audio so much. I love all the women in sports using this trend.”
