At the 2026 YouTube Upfronts, Zara Larsson stunned in a plunging pastel pink Versace dress featuring a thigh-high slit. The Swedish popstar channelled pure princess vibes at the star-studded event on May 13, as she walked the red carpet in the vintage piece. The event, held at Lincoln Center, opened with a performance by her.
Zara Larsson’s plunging Versace dress with ridiculously high slit hangs by just strings
Ditching her usual crop tops and micro miniskirts, Zara Larsson dipped her hands into the Versace archives and pulled out a look from the House’s Spring 2005 collection. The dress featured a structured, corset-style bodice with ruched silk cups and a wide, gathered waistband that emphasised the silhouette. The neckline dipped slightly at the center, while the gown hung on to her with thin strings.
Echoing Greek-inspired drapery, long silk streamers fell elegantly from the spaghetti straps, creating fluid movement as they draped down her back and sides. An intricate, darker pink damask and lattice pattern adorned the skirt. These ornate details included celestial motifs like stars and swirling baroque flourishes. Meanwhile, the high slit on one side exposed her legs. Designed with a subtle sheen that caught the light, the gown fell to the floor in a soft, flowing train at her feet.
Styled by Caterina Ospina, Larsson kept her accessories minimal to keep the focus on her vintage dress. She wore her long, blonde hair in voluminous waves that cascaded over her shoulders. Meanwhile, her makeup featured shimmering eyeshadow and a glossy nude lip, mirroring her dress’s soft tones.
On May 12, Larsson posted a photo dump on Instagram. The photos captured her wearing the Cece Dress in Ballet Slipper from Niihai. She paired it with grey sweatpants while she relaxed in nature. She was also carrying a vintage Chanel Camellia Shoulder Bag. The black-and-white flap bag featured a floral pattern.
