Dua Lipa arrived at Cannes in a completely see-through Ferragamo top and skirt that instantly made headlines for its daring yet modest appeal. She once again delivered a masterclass in fashion and proved yet again that one can pull off any color combination when matched with style and, of course, confidence. Styled by Lorenzo Posocco, the look struck a perfect balance between modern allure and a high-fashion aesthetic.
Dua Lipa’s Ferragamo top and skirt go completely see-through for Cannes
Dua Lipa’s see-through Ferragamo top and skirt for Cannes streets deserves another look. The “Don’t Start Now” singer looked stunning as she arrived at the 79th annual Cannes Film Festival in France in a look from Ferragamo’s Fall/Winter 2026 ready-to-wear collection.
The outfit came in a deep purple shade and was crafted from a very thin fabric, which gave it a sheer effect. It wasn’t stiff at all and instead promoted movement as she walked. The see-through fabric made the outfit feel bold and sensual without being fully revealing.
The top featured full sleeves and didn’t have a highly structured silhouette. Instead, it draped effortlessly around her body, adding fluidity and softness to the look. Moreover, the loose draping gave it an effortless high-fashion energy.
Lipa paired it with a matching skirt that fell slightly above her knee. The piece featured lace-up strings that added some edginess to the outfit, elevating its overall appeal. She layered the look with matching lingerie to lend it a daring edge and a sensual spin as well.
While the “Houdini” singer could have opted for matching shoes and gone for a monochromatic look, she took the fashion game up a notch by playing with a contrasting color palette. Lipa opted for bright red Ferragamo mules with pointed toes and completed the look with a matching hug crossbody bag from the same brand.
She also added some sparkle to her otherwise sleek ensemble with Bulgari’s Serpenti Viper rings and a Serpenti Viper bracelet. A pair of Serpenti Viper earrings perfectly rounded off the entire look.
