Scooter Braun is backing Sydney Sweeney’s portrayal in Euphoria, including its intense and intimate scenes, and “fully understands that it’s part of her job.” The details come from a source who spoke exclusively to a celebrity outlet following Sweeney’s character, Cassie Howard, dropping a nude moment in one of the recent episodes, with fans claiming the HBO series may have crossed the line.
Scooter Braun supports Sydney Sweeney’s bold Euphoria role; “it’s part of her job…”
In a freshly dropped report by Page Six, Braun, the 44-year-old music producer and media mogul, has no issues with his girlfriend’s explicit scenes in Euphoria or “any of the work she does as an actress,” said the source, who further added that Braun “fully understands that it’s part of her job and respects how dedicated she is to her craft.”
Expanding on this, the source said, “Their relationship is very secure, and there’s a strong level of trust between them.” The unnamed individual went on to add, “Scooter isn’t the type to feel threatened by her work or try to control what roles she takes on. He’s incredibly supportive of her career and proud of everything she’s accomplished.”
Sweeney has played the character in the controversial series since the show began in 2019. Her role has involved sexual storylines that have generated significant online backlash. However, in Season 3, it got worse after Sweeney’s character entered the world of online adult content creation, prompting several real-life OnlyFans creators criticising the content of the show.
As per Variety, Sydney Leathers, who has been on OnlyFans for a decade, said, “There’s so much that they have her doing that is not even allowed on OnlyFans, and that alone is infuriating: the age-play stuff where she’s dressed as a baby in a diaper, for example. Credit card processors have very strict rules that you have to abide by, and the rules are getting stricter all the time.”
Maitland Ward Baxter, another top OnlyFans creator, expressed, “In the climate we’re in, that they dressed her up as a baby to make pornographic OnlyFans content was beyond troubling and again serves to perpetuate stereotypes that sex workers have no moral compass and that they will do anything for money.”
