Kamala Harris moves out of home, shifts to $8.15 million Malibu pad, per source
According to RadarOnline, Kamala Harris allegedly left her Brentwood home with Doug Emhoff and settled into a Malibu retreat bought for $8.15 million. One insider said, “Kamala is focused on trying to win the Democratic nomination again.” The source added she could do it “with or without Doug’s support.” The report claimed her 2024 defeat to Donald Trump added strain to their marriage. Emhoff is an entertainment lawyer and Harris’ husband of 11 years. He also shares two children, Cole and Ella, with his ex-wife, film producer Kerstin Mackin.
The report also cited Harris’ memoir, “107 Days,” to frame campaign tension. In the book, she recalled Emhoff arriving “tired and preoccupied” before her birthday. She wrote that he had not planned where they would stay or eat dinner. Meanwhile, another insider said his past affair becoming public was “an embarrassing revelation.” The source said it “did her candidacy no favors.” The insider added that campaign demands put “a strain on their marriage.”
Still, RadarOnline mentioned that Harris remained focused on another White House bid. A source claimed, “Both of their images were battered in the last election.” The insider said Emhoff wanted privacy and hoped she would quit politics. “He wants her to quit,” the source said, so they could return to “a private life.” The same insider warned another run could be “the straw that breaks the camel’s back.”
