A White House spokesperson called out Natalie Maines over her foul-mouthed criticism of Donald Trump. They accused her of suffering from “Trump Derangement Syndrome,” a political term often used to describe hateful reactions toward the US president. The remarks came after Maines accused Trump’s administration of damaging democracy.
White House slams Natalie Maines for her comment
Maines recently took to social media to react to the Department of Justice’s latest announcement of dedicating a $1.8 billion fund for “victims of lawfare and weaponization.” The fund in question likely comes from a $10 billion lawsuit filed against the IRS. In a now taken-down post, Maines wrote, “Our democracy is disappearing right before our eyes. This fugly slut is using your gas money to pay the insurrectionists. But don’t worry about it. I’m sure posting selfies will fix everything.”
Speaking about the deletion of her post, Maines posted again, urging people to repost it as much as possible so that the message stays on the internet. “My last post that called him a fugly slut got removed. We’ll see how long this one lasts. Repost and help the message live,” she wrote. Following her explosive verbal attack, the White House responded to her criticism with a few harsh words.
The White House spokesperson said, “Natalie Maines is a despicable nobody who clearly suffers from a severe case of Trump Derangement Syndrome that has rotted her peanut-sized brain” (via Fox News). Maines afterward responded to the White House’s comments, showcasing support for her deleted post. She said in a statement to USA Today, “This nobody American stands by her post.”
Recently, sources suggested that the DOJ could consider settling Donald Trump’s lawsuit against the IRS. Various options are being considered for winding it up. It’s also known that the officials are also considering whether they should add a condition that disables the IRS from looking into the taxes of Trump, his family, and his business.
Moreover, if monetary compensation is opted for, then it could raise potential questions. This is because the DOJ might provide that money for Trump. It is to be noted that a final decision hasn’t been made.
