Michelle Obama is reportedly frustrated that Barack Obama keeps putting public life before their marriage. The former first lady was allegedly said to want more time with her husband after years of high-pressure schedules. A new report claimed insiders believe she could delay any public move until after the 2026 midterms. The claim centered on marriage strain, career demands, and whether the Obamas can keep private tension contained. It also kept politics behind the relationship claim.

As per RadarOnline, Barack Obama recently addressed tension at home. The outlet cited his New Yorker comments about his wife, Michelle Obama, wanting him to slow down. The former president said, “She wants to see her husband easing up.” He also said she wanted more time “enjoying what remains of our lives.” Barack further shared, “It does create a genuine tension in our household,” and added that the situation “frustrates her.”

The report then claimed the former first lady had been “so fed up” with him prioritizing public work. One source alleged she had reached her limit with him “putting his career first.” According to the insider, she may wait until after the midterms. The source claimed she had “conceded the timing” of any announcement to her husband. However, the report framed the claim as alleged planning, not a confirmed split. No formal announcement was reported.

Meanwhile, RadarOnline noted the couple married in 1992 and share daughters Malia and Sasha. The outlet also cited past rumors about their finances and private deliberations. However, Michelle previously pushed back against breakup speculation. She said, “There hasn’t been one moment in our marriage where I thought about quitting.”

The “IMO” podcast host added that they had “some really hard times” and “a lot of fun times.” The former first lady also said she became “a better person” because of Barack. For now, the report left the marriage strain claims tied to time, priorities, and public pressure.
