Kim Kardashian Health Concerns Grow After ‘35 Pills a Day’ Confession

Kim Kardashian boasted about her daily routine during a podcast, mentioning she takes around 35 supplements each day. The 45-year-old reality star also admitted to experiencing “pill fatigue.” These revelations have now raised health concerns among medical experts.

After appearing on Amy Poehler’s podcast, Kim K’s confession has medical experts concerned

In an appearance on Amy Poehler’s Good Hang podcast on May 19, the mother of four said, “I take probably 35 supplements a day. I spread them out three times a day, and I thought, ‘OK, I can’t do this fish oil right now, like, anymore. I have pill fatigue. I have to stop these fish oils.'”

Skims founder then added, “I got my blood work, and it was so evident that I stopped and I had to start again.” “The pills are just so big. I wish there was like an IV drop I could do every day, and I would just do it on my way to work,” she expressed.

She also asked the Saturday Night Live comedian, “Do you ever get a … DEXA scan? I actually know a portable DEXA scan person, and it comes in a van.” Explaining the process, the Skims founder said, “You lie down and each one of my sisters and my mom — we all live in the same gated community — so we have the van drive by, and we all jump in the van,” and added, “it scans your body — maybe like three minutes — and it tells you all about your bone density.”

Dual-Energy X-ray Absorptiometry is an imaging test that uses low-frequency X-rays to measure bone density. However, the revelation in the podcast has raised concerns. Experts warn that even natural supplements can strain internal organs.

Talking to RadarOnline, a health source said, “People assume supplements are harmless because they are sold over the counter, but the kidneys and liver still have to process every single pill. Even products promoted as healthy can become disastrous to the internal organs when taken in large amounts for years.” Another explained, “Kim is extremely disciplined about monitoring her body, but doctors increasingly warn that loading up on dozens of supplements daily can create long-term risks for internal organs, especially when multiple products are combined.”

The report by the outlet also suggested that some studies state supplements cause nearly 20 percent of drug-related liver injuries in the U.S.
