Doja Cat Risks It All in Plunging Named Collective Top Held by a String

Doja Cat is once again proving that subtle dressing is not part of her vocabulary. While out in Manchester during the European leg of her tour, the rapper stepped out in a chaotic mix of Y2K-inspired pieces that somehow came together into one of her most eye-catching off-duty looks yet.

Doja Cat takes a fashion risk in plunging Named Collective top held together by a single string

The centrepiece of the outfit was a hot pink halterneck top from Named Collective that appeared to be hanging on by almost nothing. ‘The Charisma Charm Backless Halterneck Top,’ featured an ultra-plunging neckline with barely-there fabric panels attached to a tiny metallic charm detail placed directly at the center of the chest. The sheer lightweight material moved almost like a scarf as she walked, making the already daring silhouette look even more dramatic. Retailing for around $70, the top leaned heavily into early-2000s clubbing energy.

Doja paired the revealing pink piece with leopard-print capri leggings from IAMGIA. This created a loud contrast that felt intentionally over-the-top. The fitted ‘Tashi Capri bottoms in Panthera,’ added another nostalgic layer to the look, especially when styled with bright pink monogrammed Louis Vuitton ‘6 AM Mule mule heels’.

Accessories played a major role in the outfit’s maximalist feel. Oversized vintage Dior shield sunglasses added a futuristic edge, while a ‘Y2K pink logo monogram trotter canvas shoulder bag,’ from Dior, tied into the pink color palette. She also attached multiple plush keychains, including the famous he ‘Monsters Labubu x Hello Kitty and Friends/Sanrio Characters’. She completed the outfit with a charm waistchain, turning the street look into something playful and bold.

Beauty-wise, the rapper kept her hair sleek and center-parted with soft face-framing strands, pairing the look with glossy lips and muted makeup that allowed the outfit to stay front and center. Doja Cat has never been afraid of fashion risks, and this Manchester appearance felt like another example of her fully embracing experimental
