Megyn Kelly was recently joined by Damilare Sonoiki, TV writer, and Stepfanie Tyler, founder of “Bad Girl Media” and “Westly,” on her SiriusXM show Friday. There, they shared their views about Donald Trump’s upcoming Freedom 250 event. And Kelly did not mince words while sharing her reaction to the June 24 concert. The show initially had nine artists lined up for performance. However, the majority of them have since pulled out, leaving Kelly calling the event a fiasco.

“This has been a disaster from start to finish,” Kelly said on her radio show about the event. The political commentator further added that she “tried to find somebody defending it,” including the “Republicans” she follows on X, but “they were all ripping it, too.”“No one was impressed. It may sound mean, but it’s true. No one was impressed. Everyone thought this was kind of a joke.”

And while speaking about the artist pulling back from the performance, Kelly said she believed it’s not due to the “fear of backlash for getting too political or being in favor of Trump” but due to the “universal reaction to this lineup” as “pathetic.”

“It was a very negative reaction across the board, and they said, ‘Oh my god, I can’t be a part of that.’ Everyone’s looking at each other thinking you’re the one they’re talking about when they say it’s pathetic, you’re the one they’re talking about when they say it’s lame, not me, and I can’t be associated with you losers,” she said.

The performers for the Freedom 250 started dropping out shortly after the lineup was announced. Morris Day, Bret Michaels, Martina McBride, Milli Vanilli, The Commodores, and Young MC have backed out of the event. So far, only C+C Music Factory, Vanilla Ice, and Flo Rida are still listed on the lineup.
