Taylor Swift recently shared rare childhood footage with her fans on her social media accounts to mark the release of her new song, “I Knew It, I Knew You,” lifted from the “Toy Story 5” soundtrack. And needless to say, Swifties were taken by the clip. Swift’s new track is a country song inspired by “Toy Story” character Jessie, a cowgirl who was first introduced in “Toy Story 2.”
Taylor Swift has fans showering her with all the love after watching Toy Story clip
Taylor Swift can’t get enough of the childhood clip that she posted on her social media accounts to mark the release of “I Knew It, I Knew You,” an original song from the “Toy Story 5” soundtrack. In the rare footage, the young Swift is seen marching in a red cowboy hat and boots, along with a denim skirt and white top.
“Writing this song felt like a musical departure and coming home at the same time. Creating something for Jessie was a new challenge and also felt like second nature all at once. And being a @toystory kid from the age of 5 til now… is an adventure I plan to be on, to infinity and beyond,” the pop icon mentioned on her post.
Soon after Swift’s new track, which was co-written by Jack Antonoff, footage went online, fans could not help but feel happy for the singer. “Like she have been practicing on this since she was an infant impressive,” said a person on X (formerly Twitter). Another fan thanked the singer for the song, saying, “Thank you so much for this beautiful song Taylor!!!! It’s amazing! I love you so much!!!”
A third added, “Childhood me is crying happy tears watching baby Taylor in that cowboy hat — Country Tay is BACK and Jessie finally has her perfect anthem! To infinity & beyond with this one.” While another individual added, “From a 5-year-old in a cowgirl hat to writing an official track for Toy Story 5… this is the ultimate full-circle moment.”
