We finally got the tea on why Brittany Cartwright and Brandon Hanson didn’t last, and we’ve got the ick just from thinking about it.
During The Valley Season 3 Episode 10, Brittany said that things started to fall apart while she was recovering from her cosmetic surgery. She said that he asked her for money to come take care of her, and she did it. Yuck!
The Valley star said “the icks are piling on”
Brittany and Brandon dated for several months last year, and it was her first public rebound after divorcing Jax Taylor. During that time, she got a mommy makeover, and on The Valley, she explained how the recovery process exposed some major cracks in their relationship.
This relationship was already burdened by long distance, and according to Brittany, he traveled nearly 200 miles to be by her side after her mommy makeover. She said he took off work, but she said he totally dropped the ball when she asked him to pick up her prescription pain meds. He kept putting it off and didn’t make it to the pharmacy in time. He had one job, and he failed.
“I just feel like that I asked the bare minimum of Brandon,” Brittany explained in her confessional.
She added, “And since he had taken off work — which I cannot believe I did this — but he asked if I could give him some money. I was like, ‘You know what? You’re gonna come and take care of me, so I don’t care to give you some money.'”
Paying this man turned out to be a waste of money. He used the money to buy her flowers, all while delaying picking up her prescription. Was going through the Walgreens drive-through that complicated?
Brittany explained, “But then he kept, like, delaying the days and didn’t even get the pain medication. He bought me flowers with the money I gave him. The icks are piling on.”
Ultimately, the icks became too much to bear. Brandon and Brittany broke up shortly after this fiasco, citing the fact that long distance makes things difficult. Recovering from a mommy makeover without your pain medication also makes things difficult.
