Ex-Prince Andrew’s Latest Appearance Has People Asking the Same Question

The former Prince Andrew was photographed recently near his home with what appeared to be a large bruise on his face. The bruise was large enough to be captured from outside a car window. A source has since disclosed that the bruise is not a “cause for concern” but has declined to give out any other details.

Ex-Prince Andrew spotted with mysterious bruise

Prince Andrew, the Former Duke of York, was photographed in his car near his Marsh Farm home on the royal family’s Sandringham estate. The brother of the King had a large purple mark stretching from his right temple to his eye and down his cheek. The mark was deep enough to be captured from outside the car window.

A source close to the former Duke of York addressed this. Speaking to the Daily Mail, the insider said that the bruise is not a “cause for concern” and involved “no drama.” However, the insider refused to share anything else about the mark.

So, it remains unclear how former Prince Andrew, who is now called Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor since losing his royal titles last year, acquired the bruise. But it has been a topic of conversation in online forums.

In October 2025, Prince Andrew was stripped of his titles by King Charles after his links to the late Jeffrey Epstein came under renewed scrutiny following the release of the Epstein Files. Andrew had been photographed multiple times with the convicted sex offender and was also accused of grave crimes.

After the release of the files, the late Queen Elizabeth’s second son was arrested at home in February on suspicion of misconduct in public office. He was accused of sharing confidential information with the late Jeffrey Epstein during his role as a U.K. trade envoy. He was released after 11 hours in custody.

As of the latest update in May, the Thames Valley Police are reportedly continuing with the investigation involving Andrew.
