Sean “Diddy” Combs’ ongoing legal troubles have taken another turn. A former male escort who participated in the now-infamous “freak-offs” is publicly pushing back against claims made by Cassie Ventura as their court battle escalates.
The latest dispute centers on Clayton Howard, one of the escorts whose name surfaced during Diddy’s criminal trial. Howard is suing both Diddy and Cassie, alleging he suffered psychological and physical harm after participating in the sexual encounters arranged during their relationship.

According to newly filed court documents obtained by TMZ, Howard is challenging Cassie’s assertion that he supported her after she came forward with allegations against Diddy in 2023.
Cassie previously submitted a text message Howard allegedly sent to her husband, Alex Fine, after she filed suit against the music mogul. In the message, Howard reportedly wrote, “I know your wife’s truth is 100% valid … I’m glad she got some form of justice.”
But Howard now argues that the message has been mischaracterized. “I have never stated [Cassie] was an innocent victim who played no role in” the alleged conduct described in his lawsuit, Howard said in the filing, according to TMZ.
While Howard maintains that Cassie was a victim of Diddy, he also claims she actively participated in organizing the so-called freak-offs. Cassie previously testified that she coordinated the encounters at Diddy’s direction and under circumstances she described as abusive.
The legal fight has become increasingly contentious. Cassie’s attorneys recently asked a judge to intervene after alleging that Howard launched a campaign of harassment against her online.
In a letter filed with the court, her legal team pointed to social media videos in which Howard allegedly made threatening remarks, including, “Bitch, I’m going to burn you out with fire” and “You want to play stupid games, you can win stupid prizes,” according to TMZ.
Cassie’s lawyers argue the comments amount to threats and say Howard has also used derogatory language toward her online. They are seeking court action that would prevent him from making further public attacks.
Howard’s lawsuit remains ongoing. He is seeking damages for injuries he claims resulted from his involvement in the encounters, while both sides continue to dispute their respective roles in the events at the center of the case.
