Prince Harry & King Charles Haven’t Spoken in a Long Time — Report

Prince Harry and King Charles have not spoken in months, as per a new report. It also claims that the relationship between the father and son is at an “all-time low.” This comes just months after the king traveled to the United States on a state visit. Although the duke currently resides with his family in California, the king did not meet his youngest son.

Royal expert reveals when Prince Harry and King Charles spoke the last time

Prince Harry and King Charles are reportedly not speaking regularly and may not have spoken for about nine months, per Express. Their last known face-to-face meeting was in September 2025 at Clarence House. At the time, the meeting was said to have gone well, and Harry reportedly described his father as his main “focus” for the coming years.

However, royal biographer Christopher Andersen claimed on a podcast that the September meeting was the last time the two actually spoke. He believes that Harry’s marriage with Meghan Markle is one of the sources of the tension within the royal family. Andersen also claims that before the meeting at Clarence House, the king and the duke hadn’t spoken for 19 months.

Meanwhile, another royal commentator, Katie Nicholl, also recently said that the relationship between father and son is currently at an “all-time low.” She explained that Harry often tries to contact his father directly rather than communicating through official channels.

According to Nicholl, this has made King Charles “nervous.” Currently, neither Harry nor the royal family has commented on the matter. So, the claims from both commentators must be treated as rumors.

On the other hand, King Charles had a four-day state visit to the United States, starting April 27, 2026. During that time, he reportedly avoided meeting Harry. Commentators speculated that it could be because the meeting would divert media attention from the main reason for the visit. Regardless of the decision about a reunion, the matter ultimately drew unwanted media attention.
