Ms. Juicy of Little Women: Atlanta was scared when the police told her she would be arrested, and her emotional reaction was caught on video. The police bodycam footage of her arrest in Georgia brought the story back into the spotlight. The footage shows her chatting with the cops who pulled her over, and her reaction to being told she was being placed under arrest.
How the video revived the story
ICYMI, Ms. Juicy, whose real name is Shirlene King-Pearson, was caught on charges of driving on a suspended license and no proof of insurance. The arrest happened in April, but the story was revived when video footage surfaced.
The bodycam footage obtained by TMZ shows Ms. Juicy being pulled over. She remained calm while providing her license information. The officer told her her driver’s license was suspended, and she had no insurance on the vehicle.
She seemed genuinely confused and said she believed she had a valid license. The next footage shows her being brought to the cop car. She asked if she was going to be put in handcuffs, and the police officer replied yes, but that he would put them on in front of her body.
She stayed calm but seemed concerned about her oxygen tank. The officer took the spare out of her trunk and packed it up with them. She’s faced several health issues in the past, including a previous stroke, so it’s understandable she was concerned.
Ms. Juicy proceeded to get quite emotional in the backseat. She began crying, believing that she had already addressed the license issue.
The arresting officer tried to reassure her that her friend was already on the way to pay her bond. Unfortunately, he informed her that he would need to take her license.
The reality star was taken in and released from jail several hours later.
Little Women: Atlanta is streaming via Lifetime.
