Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo Hit With Stunning ‘PR Scandal’ Accusation Amid Divorce Drama

Canadian comedian and musician Nicole Arbour has claimed that the split between country singer Jelly Roll (real name: Jason DeFord) and his wife Bunnie Xo (real name: Alisa DeFord) is just another PR stunt to gain public attention.

Arbour also claims that the couple ran a years-long smear campaign against her that included deliberate circulation of rumors and instances where Jelly Roll allegedly verbally assaulted her.

Nicole Arbour explains why she believes the Jelly Roll divorce is a publicity stunt and accuses the singer of verbal assault

Arbour, who released a popular Jelly Roll diss track “Cosplay Christian,” claimed that the couple’s attempts to ruin her reputation had limited her financial prospects and also created marital tensions and also claimed she believed their divorce may be a publicity stunt.

“Jelly Roll and his wife will create a PR scandal,” Arbour told The New York Post, referencing the supposed mock divorce, and added, “They create a giant scandal with the press that they get off of, then launch something.”

Previously, in 2021, Arbour claimed that the couple was joined by singer Ryan Upchurch after she rejected his romantic advances. According to her, Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo amplified the false accusations, portraying her as a manipulative liar, and gained huge public traction by hyping up the controversy.

The accusations intensified when the trio created a big story out of the fact that Upchurch had left behind his wallet at Arbour’s place, leading to public backlash and damage to her credibility. Arbour told the Post, “They made up some big scandal about me stealing his wallet, which had never happened, and launched a single with Jelly Roll and Ryan Upchurch together.” Arbour also alleged, “It worked so well using my name and making up this big giant scandal that they did it again.”

As it stands, Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo have not publicly addressed Arbour’s allegations.
