FBI Director Kash Patel’s Girlfriend Lashes Out Over Concert Criticism

Kash Patel’s girlfriend is done staying quiet, and her latest response makes that crystal clear. Alexis Wilkins fired back after critics raised new questions about a high-profile performance and its ties to the FBI director.

Alexis Wilkins fires back over Kash Patel concert criticism

Alexis Wilkins, the girlfriend of FBI Director Kash Patel, has fired back at critics questioning her upcoming performance at the Great American State Fair, The Daily Beast reported.

Wilkins announced on Tuesday that she landed a gig performing at the event organized by the Trump-created Freedom 250 group. Critics quickly questioned whether her relationship with Patel helped secure the booking. Sara Higdon, a reporter for The Post Millennial, asked on X whether the arrangement violated federal ethics laws.

Wilkins responded furiously less than an hour later. She declared she would no longer accept “sham accusations” that “diminish” her “hard work and earned accomplishments.” The 27-year-old also insisted she earned the invitation independently.

“I was invited to sing this anthem on my own accord, as I have been many other places throughout my career,” Wilkins wrote. She added that she was not accepting payment “for this great honor.” Wilkins also claimed that no National Mall celebrations receive taxpayer funding.

However, Freedom 250 received $80 million in taxpayer dollars, according to NOTUS. Events held on federal land also often result in indirect taxpayer expenses. Wilkins’s songs have not reached major mainstream charts since she began releasing music in 2020.

Her relationship with Patel, 46, has already sparked significant controversy. Reports revealed the FBI director allocated agency resources to protect and accommodate Wilkins. The agency also began investigating a New York Times journalist after her reporting drew Wilkins’s ire.

Wilkins warned that her combative approach would persist going forward. “I’m no longer accepting false narratives and total sham accusations that diminish my hard work and earned accomplishments, so please expect this kind of response to continue,” she wrote. She is currently suing MS NOW and its parent company, Versant, over a separate article about her FBI security detail.
