Kai Trump‘s latest White House tour is giving viewers a fresh look inside one of the world’s most famous residences. While the influencer’s video showcased historic rooms, famous artwork, and behind-the-scenes spaces rarely seen by the public, it also highlighted a detail that has sparked plenty of discussion online: President Donald Trump’s fondness for gold decor.
Kai Trump praises grandpa Donald Trump’s eye for detail in gold Oval Office updates
The influencer and golfer recently shared a casual video tour of the presidential residence. During the walkthrough, she explored historic rooms, pointed out famous landmarks, and revealed several personal touches added by her grandfather.
Kai guided viewers through hallways lined with portraits and recalled childhood memories from the White House. “I used to play soccer in these halls,” she said while walking through the building. The tour also included stops inside the iconic Red Room and Blue Room before Kai reached one of the most recognizable spaces in the world, the Oval Office.
There, she highlighted the extensive gold accents that have become a signature feature of the room. “He loves gold, it’s like the favourite thing on the planet… he added gold everywhere,” Kai said while pointing toward the ceiling and decorative details throughout the office. She also praised the president’s design choices and attention to detail. “He has a very, very good attention to detail,” Kai explained. “Everything that he thought should be gold — he made gold.”
The video offered a closer look at several personal items inside the office, including a gold tray placed on the Resolute Desk. The tray holds pens used by Trump to sign official documents. Kai also pointed out the well-known Diet Coke button that has generated headlines over the years.
Beyond the Oval Office, Kai showcased parts of the White House that many Americans rarely see. She joked about several historical figures featured in paintings and sculptures throughout the residence, referring to George Washington as her “best friend” and Benjamin Franklin as “our old boy, Benji.”
The tour marked another glimpse into Kai’s life inside the White House. Earlier this year, she shared a viral video that amassed millions of views while highlighting amenities throughout the residence. This time, however, viewers seemed most fascinated by one recurring theme: Donald Trump’s unmistakable preference for gold.
