Jussie Smollett is reportedly dating “Queer Eye” star Karamo Brown after the pair was photographed sharing affectionate moments during an outing in Los Angeles.
The PDA-filled sighting comes just weeks after Smollett’s reported split from his fiancé, Jabarui (Jabari) Redd, marking a new chapter in the actor’s personal life.

According to TMZ, the new couple spent a relaxed day together in Los Angeles, treating themselves to lunch at Karamo’s mother’s home, running errands, and wrapping up the outing with a hike through Runyon Canyon. Throughout the day, the pair appeared comfortable with one another, openly holding hands and displaying affectionate gestures.
The chemistry between the two was palpable: the couple was smiling, chatting, and staying close. They were enjoying their romance to the hilt. At one point, Jussie also cupped Karamo’s chin, a moment that drew enough “awww-s” from their fans.
The new romance follows Smollett’s reported amicable breakup with actor and producer Jabari Redd after nearly three years together. The former couple announced their engagement in June 2025 after meeting while working on Smollett’s film “The Lost Holiday,” and sources later said the split was mutual and respectful.
According to PEOPLE, Brown’s relationship history has been largely public. Before his recent sighting with Smollett, the television personality was engaged to director Ian Jordan following a relationship that lasted around a decade. The pair ended their engagement in 2020 but have remained on good terms.
Adding to rising speculation, Brown recently teased the audience on Carlos King’s “Reality With the King” podcast with the description of someone new he was dating, reports Ew.com. Although he did not identify Smollett by name, he described his partner as someone with whom he feels completely safe and said he believes the relationship could lead to marriage.
