The Duke of Sussex is visiting the UK with his family this month. King Charles reportedly offered royal accommodation to the couple. According to the Royal Observer, the couple is expected to stay at Balmoral Castle, Ballater, and Althorp House, which is Princess Diana’s childhood home.
Samara Gill, who recently appeared on The Royal Exclusive, said, “I think it is very interesting that they might stay at Buckingham Palace. I think that’s all about optics for them. I think they want to be seen, at least from the American side, that they’re going there, they’re being welcomed back into the Royal Family.”
She further addressed the security concern raised by the Sussexes, saying, “If let’s say, for example, that it is Buckingham Palace, it might not be, but if it is, Buckingham Palace has very, very solid not just police protection.”
