Megyn Kelly once again commented on Taylor Swift, questioning her upbringing while criticizing her wedding. She claimed the singer was “empty inside” in her recent appearance on Piers Morgan Uncensored.
Megyn Kelly argued that Taylor Swift’s extravagant wedding plans show someone chasing spectacle instead of fulfillment
Kelly, who appeared on Piers Morgan Uncensored, discussed the much-talked-about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce wedding in NYC. She said, “I may shock you, but I feel sorry for Taylor Swift. I really think she’s empty inside. I think most people who seek fame at a very early age, like in their teens, are chasing after some sort of fullness that wasn’t provided by their family of origin for whatever reason. And it never comes. It’s a lifelong pursuit because fame and money, adoration from strangers, does not fill void.”
Swift and Kelce got married at MSG on July 3, where they invited friends from Hollywood and the NFL, according to OK Magazine. The journalist called the singer shallow for inviting 1,000 guests to Madison Square Garden in New York City. She said, “It felt like an event, didn’t it? It felt like a it was like a like a show, right? We’re putting on a show here.” She also compared the wedding with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s wedding.
Kelly also commented on Blake Lively and Swift’s relationship, talking about the Baldoni lawsuit. She said, “Taylor Swift should be on her knees thanking God that she wasn’t dragged into this and exposed for her bullying.”
Further, she talked about the guest list, including Steven Spielberg, Zadie Smith, Karlie Kloss, and Bradley Cooper. She criticized Swift for choosing Adam Sandler to officiate her wedding. “Adam Sandler officiating. Okay. How did that come about? Oh, it was told by the papers that he and Travis were in Happy Gilmore 2 together. When was Happy Gilmore 2 made? 2025,” she added.
However, this is not the first time Kelly has criticized Swift over the choice of venue on her podcast, The Megyn Kelly Show.
