It has been nearly four years since the Sussexes met the royal family along with their children. As Charles reportedly looks forward to seeing them again, Harry’s latest move has allegedly left the King deeply upset.

Prince Harry reconsidering his decision to visit the UK has reportedly left King Charles very “upset.” As reported by Heat World, the King tried extending an olive branch to the Sussexes. The monarch did so by arranging a royal residence for Harry and his family during the trip.
However, Harry’s sudden U-turn has reportedly shocked the King. Harry’s skepticism about the trip is said to stem from security concerns. He is reportedly uncertain after the Royal and VIP Executive Committee (RAVEC) decided that his family would not have full police protection during their visit. The trip is still expected to go ahead.
However, Harry’s spokesperson has indicated that it will depend on the outcome of the final security assessment. The spokesperson added that he is exploring options to make sure the visit is safe and secure. At the same time, he wants to provide his kids with the opportunity to enjoy the UK.
However, the news has allegedly upset the King. A source said, “Whether they come or not, it’s still been extremely insulting – and highly upsetting – for the King to deal with. Everyone knows how much he’s been longing to spend time with his grandchildren, he’s very upset and confused right now whilst waiting for the final decision.”
As for Harry, the source claims that he may have legitimate concerns about his family’s security. However, they added that many people find the timing questionable. The source stated, “They don’t understand why he’d blast those details right before he had all the required arrangements in place and formally checked off.”
