Megyn Kelly has reportedly compared Tyler Robinson, the accused killer of far-right activist Charlie Kirk, to convicted murderer Bryan Kohberger.
While speaking on The Megyn Kelly Show on July 7, she noted that both the accused and the convicted killer displayed similar patterns of stalking their victims before attacking.
Megyn Kelly argued that both cases involve allegations of surveillance before a deadly attack
“This guy’s giving Bryan Kohberger vibes with the multiple visits before, and even going back after midnight the day that the evening of the crime, like after the crime was committed,” Kelly, 55, explained, bringing to mind the similarities between the two, according to OK! Magazine.
Kelly found Kohberger’s actions close to how Robinson allegedly murdered Kirk. Kohberger, a university assistant, was reportedly “stalking the neighbourhood” and identified one of his victims before stabbing them to death. He had no known ties with the victims.
The preliminary hearings for Charlie Kirk’s murder started on Monday in Utah, focusing on whether the prosecutors had enough evidence to try Robinson for aggravated murder, as they reportedly seek the death penalty for the accused.
The court played videos of Robinson’s whereabouts before Kirk was shot on September 10, 2025. Kelly argues that much like Kohberger, Robinson was seen actively stalking and talking to Kirk’s staff before returning in a different outfit to shoot Kirk, allegedly.
Kelly explained her point, describing Robinson’s activities as, “He showed up at 8:30 a.m. the morning of Charlie’s appearance, that he was there for an hour. They said it took him, he arrived at 8:30 and he left at 9:25 and in that time he went to the quad, and he made contact with a TP USA representative.”
Kelly also suggested that the killer may have been asking about Kirk’s schedule from the executives, who may have divulged details unknowingly, which ultimately helped in the murder.
