Anne Hathaway’s Plunging GapStudio Top Is Also Subtly See-Through

Anne Hathaway recently stepped out in New York looking effortlessly elegant while promoting “The Odyssey” on “Late Night With Seth Meyers.” Designed by Zac Posen for GapStudio, the Oscar winner’s custom monochrome ensemble proved that minimal dressing can still make a major statement, especially when paired with a hint of sheer detailing.

Anne Hathaway is dreamy in subtly see-through plunging GapStudio top and slinky skirt

Anne Hathaway‘s custom ivory look featured a silky sleeveless top with a softly plunging scoop neckline and a subtly see-through finish. This gave the lightweight fabric an airy effect under the lights. Rather than hugging the body, the top skimmed over her frame before flaring into an asymmetrical peplum hem that fell into soft ruffles around the hips. This added graceful movement with every step.

Styled by Erin Walsh, Hathway paired it with a matching floor-length satin skirt that flowed effortlessly to the ground. The loose silhouette hugged her waist before falling into a fluid drape that gathered slightly around her feet, creating an elongated and elegant finish. The coordinated separates looked almost like a gown while maintaining the ease of two individual pieces.

Keeping the styling understated, Hathaway accessorized with Bvlgari Serpenti Viper Earrings that added just the right amount of sparkle because of the pavé diamonds. These long earrings, made from 18-karat white gold, simply elevated the entire ensemble. The actress completed the look with a delicate diamond bracelet and rings in each hand. Lastly, Hathway wore pointed transparent heels that peeked out beneath the floor-sweeping skirt.

“The Devil Wears Prada” star wore her brunette hair in loose, voluminous waves parted slightly off-center. Meanwhile, her glam featured softly defined eyes, rosy cheeks, and a glossy nude pink lip that complemented the neutral palette.

The dreamy custom GapStudio creation perfectly balanced timeless sophistication with modern ease. It also showed that even though Hathaway is pregnant, she is not slowing down. It thus made her “Late Night with Seth Meyers” appearance another standout stop on her “The Odyssey” press tour.
