Welcome back, Below Deck Mediterranean fans! Last week, Luke left a nasty little surprise in Nathan’s bunk. He also left Gen in the dark about his feelings. Gen thinks they have a future, but no, they absolutely do not. Cue a frustrating Below Deck Mediterranean Season 11 Episode 6.
What happened in Below Deck Mediterranean Season 11 Episode 6?
Joy has her walls up, but Luke refuses to let her go without a fight. So now, Gen is fighting with Luke. Elsewhere, Nathan struggles to find a balance between his work life and his home life. But the real drama begins once Cooper unearths a secret that completely rocks the yacht.
One sick bosun

Gen hears, “There’s no more [love] triangle.” What Luke means is, “My heart’s with Joy.” But it is 2 am, and they are in the middle of a charter, so Luke decides to speak a bit more clearly at a later time.
Nathan wakes up sick. Naturally, the camera pans to his bedsheets. Three days have passed since Luke deposited his little legacies here, and yet, Luke has yet to wash them. Meanwhile, Nathan still has no idea he is sleeping on this mess.
Speaking of Luke, the yacht is filthy, and Joe knows why. As the former king of love triangles, Joe can speak with authority here. Luke is distracted. And soon, Joe thinks, this Luke, Gen, and Joy love triangle might turn into a major problem for all three departments.
At least Kat and Cooper are cute. Even still, vulnerability is hard for Kat. But so is docking with your mind on one woman, while another woman is in her cabin, believing you gave her validation that she and you were mutually exclusive. As a result, Luke makes a few mistakes on deck, and Nathan, like Joe, also notes in his talking head how distracted Luke seems.
The guests depart, leaving a solid tip of $27,000. Luke strips his bunk and casually offers to do the same for Nathan. Wanting to shield Luke from his germs (oh, the irony), Nathan decides to wash his own sheets instead. And then, much to the dislike of Gael Cameron, Nathan decides to sleep on the yacht that night, also not wanting to infect their son.
The love triangle that wasn’t

Luke slept with Gen, but Joy thinks they might have just kissed. And if they did kiss, Luke would need to bend over backwards to win her trust back. Upstairs, Luke is talking about this very same thing with Joe. Luke plans to have a conversation with Gen, and after that, he hopes to reconcile with Joy.
Down below, Gen tells Kayley a different story. She and Luke are totally “on the same page.” They ONLY like each other.
Kayley crawls into bed with Joe for a cuddle. Her locket holds a picture of her brother, Ewan, who passed away at the young age of five from Cerebral Palsy. Precious images of Kayley and Ewan flood the screen. Ewan, Kayley explains, is the reason she aims to live her life to the fullest.
And Aesha and Nathan aim to help Luke sit next to Joy at the restaurant. Their plan works, and Luke spends the entire meal talking to Joy while Gen grows irate at the other end of the table. This is on her, though, Gen says, since she agreed to keep their romp a secret from the crew. But raise the curtains, the time for secrets has passed.
Gen pulls Aesha aside. It looks like Aesha was “plotting against” her, Gen says. Then, Gen tells Aesha that she and Luke “f*cked.” Aesha immediately apologizes.
Gen pulls Luke aside next. He really likes Joy, he admits. Gen wants to tell Joy about their night together. Luke gets mad and asks, “Is that a threat?”
Gen says no. Then, Luke, a man 12 years her senior, asks her to be “a mature adult.” He says other harsh things as well before heading off to speak with Joy, hoping to get ahead of this impending bombshell.
Joy wins, Luke potentially loses everything

After confessing his sins to Joy, Luke slams Gen for her “mean” reaction. Beautifully, Joy clocks him for this. In her talking head, Joy asks, “See how sneaky men are?”
Joy asks him, “So you give her a green flag? You get intimate with her,” and “go back to me?” She makes a vomit sound and calls Luke “very weak” before revealing, “I don’t like you anymore.”
JOY FOR THE PRESIDENT OF EVERYTHING.
Gen returns to the table, but when Joy stands up to go to the bathroom, Gen follows. Joy and Gen actually have a nice chat, complete with an outfit compliment and an understanding that neither woman wants Luke anymore.
Joe brings us a sweet moment of relief here. He put the anniversary of Ewan’s passing in his phone. Kayley, understandably, melts. But in her sprinter van, Gen tells Cooper about what Luke did to Nathan’s sheets, and Cooper also melts, just into his seat, in horror.
Kayley and Joe, plus Kat and Cooper, couple off for bed. However, Gael is struggling on land without Nathan. She calls him in tears, which makes Nathan cry in his confessional.
In the morning, Cooper confides in Joe about the whole sticky sheets thing. So, ahead of their next returning matchmaker guest, Joe pulls Nathan aside. He tells Nathan everything. At first, Nathan plays it cool, but then he gets angry and threatens to fire Luke.
Below Deck Mediterranean continues Mondays at 8/7c on Bravo. It streams on Peacock.
