Ever since fans learned of Amanda Batula and West Wilson’s relationship, they have been fishing for a new angle. For weeks now, rumors have circulated that the Summer House alums are expecting a child. Likely due to those annoying Facebook “fan pages” which spread fake AI-generated gossip.
On a recent trip to the grocery store, Amanda seemed to poke fun at that rumor. In a video posted to TikTok on July 14, Amanda wears an oversized pink-and-white striped shirt with denim shorts. As someone off-camera holds the shopping basket, Amanda adds three jars of pickles and two cartons of vanilla ice cream. Not so ironically, these items are at the top of the list of the most common snacks craved by pregnant women.
Could the couple have a little one on the way, or are they just messing with us?
The former Summer House stars received a negative response from viewers
Pregnancy is a sensitive subject. “Coming from someone with infertility issues, this isn’t funny,” one of the highest-rated comments on the video reads.
“Shocked she didn’t just take the pickles and ice cream from Ciara’s fridge,” another wrote, making me chuckle. Of course, the writer was talking about Amanda’s former friend and Summer House castmate Ciara Miller. She and West dated during the summer of 2023. They didn’t end well, but had started rekindling their friendship before news broke that Amanda and West were together.
“You guys must’ve stayed up all night thinking of this,” poked a third.
One follower had a different perspective, commenting, “The BRAVO haters can dig on Amanda and West all they want. But they are the ones who will be shining in the spotlight the more we talk about them. Side note: they are endgame. Accept it. They will have their own show 2027.”
Though I wouldn’t exactly call them “endgame,” Amanda and West’s relationship seems to have legs. Despite constant breakup speculation, they remain together.
After 10 seasons on the show, Amanda announced her Summer House retirement on June 29. West previously announced his departure following the Season 10 reunion.
