The Summer House bombshells keep on coming! Summer House star Amanda Batula will not be returning to the show for Season 11. Instead, she will be joining her new man, West Wilson, on the sidelines, as he is also exiting. So, what happened regarding the decision on Amanda not returning?
The Summer House OG will exit the show after 10 seasons
Amanda was front and center of the latest season of Summer House regarding her relationship with her husband, Kyle Cooke. It kicked off with the two at odds when Amanda sent a message loud and clear to everyone when she did not ride up with Kyle.
But then things went left when news of Scamanda dropped. This rocked the cast and the Bravoverse. Was there something more going on between Amanda and West?
During the reunion, Amanda and West denied anything happened between them during filming. In fact, they claimed nothing happened until the end of February of this year. Still, they did both admit to lying about seeing each other to the group.
This news made Amanda and West highly unfavorable with the cast and fans. It seemed unlikely the two would be coming back for another season, and that is exactly what happened. West was out, and now Amanda is too.
Variety reported that Amanda will not be returning for Season 11. Whether or not that was her decision or Bravo’s has yet to be confirmed. However, they did provide some possible insight from Bravo exec Noah Samton.
He stated, “If you have two Housewives who hate each other, and can’t get along, they can shoot a scene, and, at the end of the day, go home to their own house. On Summer House, they actually live together. So if people have a real issue with each other, you can’t live together in a house. And we wouldn’t do that to the cast.”
Either way, it’s going to be a very different Summer House next season.
