The Daily Mail reported that Slater learned about Grande’s renewed relationship through mutual friends. An insider claimed, “Ariana hasn’t told Ethan specifically, but mutual friends have told him that she is now dating Ricky again.”
The outlet added that Grande had remained loosely in contact with Alvarez during her relationship with Slater. However, it insisted there had been no overlap. One source said, “It was important to her to still be loosely in contact with him as they still had mutual friends.” The source added that Alvarez “never crossed the line while she was with Ethan.”
According to the report, the photographer was “very happy being back in her life.” He reportedly hopes to make the most of their second chance. Another insider claimed Grande gradually reconnected with Alvarez through shared friends. The pair later began spending time together on their own.
The publication also said the former couple, who dated from 2015 to 2016, had fully rekindled their romance. “Ariana and Ricky are fully back in each other’s lives and are together,” one source claimed.
