Prince Harry Eyes More UK Family Visits Following Recent Trip — Report

Prince Harry would reportedly love more family visits to the UK, provided he can secure taxpayer-funded security. The Duke of Sussex will reportedly continue campaigning for taxpayer-funded security measures provided by official authorities, amid hopes that he can continue visiting England more often.

For those unversed, Harry visited the UK to honor his one-year countdown to the Invictus Games scheduled to be held in Birmingham in 2027. During the visit, the Sussexes reportedly met King Charles and Queen Camilla at their residence.

Prince Harry reportedly wants to have more UK family reunions

Prince Harry is reportedly eyeing more family reunions in the UK and is reportedly determined to pursue security arrangements once again. For those unversed, the Duke of Sussex was previously unable to bring his wife, Meghan Markle, and the couple’s children on his UK trip due to security concerns. Harry came to the UK alone and was later joined by his wife and children from Portugal (via Independent UK).

The Mirror has reported that Harry will lobby the Home Secretary for security. Sources have suggested that he is reportedly looking forward to meeting his father, the King, and also allowing him to spend more time with his grandchildren. Archie and Lilibet reportedly visited the UK for the first time since the Platinum Jubilee in June 2022.

Harry had previously stated his children cannot “feel at home” in the UK if it is “not possible to keep them safe” there. Moreover, he added that he has been “singled out” for “inferior treatment” with his safety, security, and life “at stake.”

However, Harry was unable to secure taxpayer-funded security for his wife and children during his recent UK visit and had to make his own security arrangements. The Duke of Sussex shared that he hoped to bring his wife and children to the UK next year.

His spokesperson had revealed to PEOPLE: “The issue has never been accommodation. The issue is whether appropriate and proportionate protective security is being provided throughout the entirety of the visit… The Duke continues to explore every available option to enable the visit to proceed safely and to give his children the opportunity to enjoy the U.K.”
