Kim Delaney’s husband, James Morgan, reportedly faced legal trouble after a flight to Los Angeles. The airport arrest followed alleged arguments involving Delaney and a Delta flight attendant.
James Morgan, the husband of actress Kim Delaney, was arrested on a public intoxication charge after an airport disturbance.
TMZ reported that law enforcement officers arrested Morgan on Monday, July 20, after he arrived at Los Angeles International Airport. He and Delaney had traveled from Detroit on a Delta flight.
According to the outlet’s law enforcement sources, Morgan and the “NYPD Blue” alum allegedly had a verbal argument during the flight. Morgan also allegedly confronted a flight attendant. The report did not identify what started either dispute.
Officers booked Morgan on a public intoxication charge after the plane reached LAX. The incident did not disrupt the flight. “Delta has zero tolerance for unruly or unlawful behavior, as the safety of our customers and crew always comes first,” an airline spokesperson told TMZ. Delta also confirmed that law enforcement met the aircraft after it landed.
The James Morgan airport arrest adds another incident to the couple’s recent legal history. In February, deputies arrested Morgan after several people reported a disturbance near their Marina del Rey apartment. Authorities accused him of obstructing or delaying an officer and disturbing the peace.
Delaney and Morgan also faced arrests after an alleged domestic dispute in March 2025. Police booked Delaney on suspicion of felony assault with a deadly weapon and Morgan on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic violence. Prosecutors later declined to file charges against either person, citing insufficient evidence.
Delaney has also dealt with a separate legal dispute involving a 2022 traffic collision. She acknowledged leaving the crash scene but denied allegations that she had consumed alcohol before the accident.
The actress and Morgan married in October 2022. The latest report places the arrest of Kim Delaney’s husband and their turbulent history under public scrutiny.
