The Real Housewives of London hasn’t yet returned to screens (it’ll be back in September), but the drama from last season is still being felt, as Season 1 made its way to Bravo and Peacock in the US. In a new podcast episode, Tamra Judge – who isn’t even a housewife on the same continent! – has given her opinion on one of Season 1’s biggest storylines … and the cast member at the center of it.
Teddi Mellencamp is enjoying the RHOLDN drama
Speaking on her and Teddi Mellencamp’s podcast this week, Real Housewives of Orange County’s Tamra debriefed on the “teeth gate” saga from Season 1 of RHOLDN.
To recap, “teeth gate” was the initial cause of a feud between Panthea Parker and Juliet Mayhew. In the opening episode, Panthea accused an unnamed dentist of carrying out work on her son without permission. As for how Juliet is involved in this? Well, according to Panthea, Juliet took the dentist’s side in the drama, rather than her own.
Although a year late to the beef, Tamra and Teddi had a lot to say about “teeth gate.” They both agreed that Juliet had “a lot of nice things to say” about Panthea on the show, but that she didn’t return the favor. To that end, Teddi likened Panthea to Jo-Ellen Tiberi of the Real Housewives of Rhode Island … in a good way.
“Fighting over teeth is like low-stakes housewives, the way I kinda want it,” the RHOC alum said. “We’re not fighting over some massive affair. We’re fighting over teeth.”
On the flip side, Tamra suggested that Panthea’s behavior during “teeth gate” was a bit “performative.” She recalled how Panthea made a big deal of Juliet borrowing and renting clothes to wear on the show and at events. “Who cares!?” she asked.
With that in mind, Tamra said she thinks Panthea went onto RHOLDN with “an agenda” to “embarrass” Juliet. Well, let’s see what happens in Season 2…
The Real Housewives of London Season 2 premieres on Hayu on September 7. Season 1 is now streaming on Peacock.
