In his latest verbal slip, President Donald Trump botched his own insult for Georgia’s Democratic Sen. Jon Ossoff. Trump attempted to mock Ossoff’s appearance but made a meal of it.

President Donald Trump messed up his intended insult for Sen. Ossoff at a campaign rally in Marietta, Ga. According to OK! Magazine, Trump called Ossoff “Pinky Herman” instead of his intended insult, ‘Pee-wee Herman‘.
The moment went viral from Wheeler High School on July 22. The event, which was originally meant to promote child savings accounts, quickly took a turn for the worse. Trump asked the crowd, “I fought Ossoff before, as you know, and we won. Had a great success against this guy. He reminds me of ‘Pinky Herman.’ Did you ever see ‘Pinky Herman?’”
Fifteen minutes into his rambling speech, Trump managed to recover himself, saying, “I call him Pee-wee Herman… He’s a Pee-wee Herman look-alike.”
For context, Pee-wee Herman was an eccentric and childlike character created by actor Paul Reubens. He was known for his gray suit, red bow tie, slicked-back hair, and distinctive high-pitched laugh.
Trump has copiously attacked Ossoff, who is known as a Disney Prince Senator by fans. At rallies and Truth Social, Trump has called him a “terrible senator” and a “joke in D.C.” He has also labelled him and other Democrats as “communists” and has predicted his defeat at the hands of the Trump-endorsed Collins.
Ossoff has also been a long-standing critic of Trump. He has opposed many of his policies and accused the president of giving no importance to democratic institutions.
This features among the several verbal slips that the 80-year-old is guilty of. Recently, he raised eyebrows while calling Iran “the Islamic State of Japan”. He called Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky “President Putin” at the NATO Summit.
