The mother-son duo appeared to be relaxing at home, reading a superhero book.
For those unversed, the celebrity couple shares four young kids: three daughters, James, Inez, and Betty, and one son, Olin.
Blake Lively shares son’s interaction with dad Ryan Reynolds during San Diego Comic-Con
Ryan Reynolds made time for Blake Lively and their son, Olin, while attending San Diego Comic-Con 2026. The “Gossip Girl” alum posted a photo on her Instagram Story featuring the sweet FaceTime moment. It seemed the screenshot was taken by Lively, as Reynolds took up most of the screen.
He was smiling sweetly at his phone’s camera while holding a mask of his character, Deadpool. It appears to be made of denim, which is quite different from his original outfit in the superhero movie. Reynolds looked happy holding the mask, presumably showing it to his family on the call.
On the other hand, Lively held her phone while Olin lay on a cozy bed in green pajamas. His face was hidden with a cute bear emoji. But it seemed he was overjoyed as his mom was also smiling. She, too, snuggled into the bed, wearing a red and blue striped shirt.
She wrote an adorable message on her Instagram Story. It read, “When you’re reading a Captain America book,” the “It Ends with Us” actress wrote in the caption, “and you get interrupted by a FaceTime from Dad.” Then, she tagged her husband and added a heart emoji.
Meanwhile, Reynolds shared his San Diego Comic-Con experience on Instagram as well. He secretly interacted with the fans, concealing himself using the same costume featured in Lively’s Instagram Story.
