Prince William reportedly does not want his brother, Prince Harry, “anywhere near Windsor” as the Duke plots his UK return. Harry is expected to travel to Britain solo for the WellChild Awards later this year. Notably, there is speculation that he may be allowed to stay at one of the royal palaces. Amid this, a royal source has dished that William is not keen on having his brother anywhere near Windsor.
Sources claim Prince William doesn’t want Prince Harry near Windsor accommodation
Royal commentator Kinsey Schofield has alleged that Prince William does not want Prince Harry to stay at Windsor accommodation during his next UK visit. In a conversation with TalkTV’s The Jeremy Kyle Breakfast Show, Windsor is reportedly not an option for the Duke of Sussex anymore, as his brother does not want him there.
The Prince of Wales has allegedly categorically put his foot down and does not want his brother anywhere near his family or at Windsor Castle. According to Schofield, William wishes to have no communication or interaction with the Sussexes.
Schofield also added that if William runs into Harry, he would not even acknowledge him, confirming reports that the cold war between the brothers continues.
Interestingly, the royal commentator reminded the host that a couple of years earlier, Harry and Meghan had asked the late Queen Elizabeth to allow them to live in Windsor Castle. Instead, the late Queen offered the Sussexes accommodation at Frogmore Cottage.
Furthermore, Schofield indicated that King Charles could allow Harry to stay at Buckingham Palace. This is after controversy surrounding Harry’s recent UK visit and his eventual need to arrange his own accommodation in Britain.
For those unversed, the Sussexes visited King Charles and Queen Camilla at the monarch’s Highgrove residence in Gloucestershire. The King was reportedly keen to meet his grandchildren, Archie and Lilibet, whom he had not seen in four years. Notably, William participated in the DMMI Royal Charity Polo Cup at Windsor alongside his wife, Kate.
As per RadarOnline, William deliberately pulled this move to avoid meeting his brother and sister-in-law. One source said, “The timing inevitably drew attention. William’s public appearance reinforced the impression that he is keeping his distance from Harry despite signs the King is trying to rebuild bridges.”
