Prince Harry Testing Meghan Markle’s ‘Sanity’ With Bombshell Plan — Source

Meghan Markle reportedly became the sticking point in Prince Harry‘s next royal reconciliation push. The Duchess of Sussex had just returned to California after a tense U.K. trip with Harry and their children. A new source claimed Harry wanted another visit with King Charles planned quickly. However, Meghan was said to need time after the last trip left her drained. The report noted that their disagreement centered around timing, children, and recovery after a heavily watched royal visit.

According to Closer Online, Prince Harry wanted another family reunion soon. Earlier this month, Harry met King Charles and Queen Camilla with Meghan Markle, Prince Archie, and Princess Lilibet at Highgrove. An insider said, “Getting the kids back together with Charles is absolutely top of Harry’s agenda right now.” The source added it was “practically all he can talk about.” Harry had “his heart set” on Christmas, according to the insider. He also wanted a trip before then, if schedules allowed.

Meanwhile, the report said Meghan was not moving at the same pace. The duchess was back in Montecito and celebrating a Daytime Emmy nomination. The source claimed tensions were thus growing because she needed time to rebuild her “own sanity.” The insider said, “Meghan’s all for him being positive.” Moreover, she supported her husband’s efforts to “rebuild” connection with Charles, but not “at the expense” of their own stability.

However, Closer Online reported that the last trip weighed heavily on the couple, and “it took all of Meghan’s strength to get through this last trip.” The source said planning another visit already felt “pretty overwhelming” and left the duchess “completely drained.” The insider also claimed, “All the back and forth was a nightmare for Harry, and she was the one who had to steady him through it all; she can’t go through that every couple of months, it’s too destabilising.”

For Harry, royal reconciliation looked urgent. But for Meghan, the report suggested the next step needed a slower timetable.
