Kanye West Resolves Assault Lawsuit Filed by Former Assistant

Kanye West has reached a settlement with his ex-assistant, Lauren Pisciotta, bringing a high-profile civil lawsuit to a close. The agreement ends a legal battle that began in 2024 after Pisciotta accused the rapper of sexual harassment, assault, and other misconduct.

The settlement keeps its financial terms private. Court records show both sides have agreed to dismiss the case.

The lawsuit filed by Lauren Pisciotta against Kanye West has been settled

According to TMZ, West and Pisciotta finalized an “unconditional settlement” on July 23. Court documents filed in Los Angeles state that attorneys will request a dismissal within 45 days of the agreement.

Neither side has disclosed the settlement’s terms. The publication reported that representatives for West did not immediately respond to requests for comment. Pisciotta filed the lawsuit in 2024 after working as West’s personal assistant. She accused him of sending explicit text messages and videos before ultimately firing her.

According to the complaint, one alleged message read, “See my problem is I be wanting to f*** but then after I f*** I want a girl to tell me how hard they been f***** while I’m f****** them. Then I want her to cheat on me.” The lawsuit also included several other serious allegations.

Pisciotta claimed West masturbated in front of her during a hotel stay. She also alleged he touched her inappropriately before falling asleep in the middle of a conversation. In another allegation, Pisciotta claimed West drugged her during a studio session that Sean “Diddy” Combs co-hosted.

West has denied previous allegations of wrongdoing. The court filing announcing the settlement does not include any admission of liability by either party. The case marked one of several legal controversies involving the rapper in recent years.

According to the publication, another woman, Jenn An, previously accused West of sexually assaulting her and physically attacking her during an alleged incident in 2010.

With the settlement now complete, this lawsuit appears headed toward dismissal unless something unexpected changes before the filing deadline.

Although the agreement closes this civil dispute, the confidential terms leave many questions unanswered about how both sides resolved the case behind the scenes.
