Suki Waterhouse appeared on the “And The Writer Is…” podcast to promote her third studio album, “Loveland,” which was released on July 10.
During her conversation about parenthood with host and songwriter Ross Golan, she opened up about how her daughter can “differentiate” between “mom the mom and mom the rockstar” now. She stated that the toddler is learning more about her parents’ jobs.
The “Back in Love” singer also revealed that her baby girl does not find her dad’s makeup for his “Batman” role unusual. “She doesn’t actually seem to notice,” Waterhouse noted. Then, she shared the nickname her baby has for Pattinson. “She calls him Daddy Batman now because he’s always dressed up like that now for the next seven months whenever he’s on FaceTime.”
Waterhouse spoke further about how her little girl reacts to all the makeup Pattinson has on while filming “The Batman Part II.” Recalling a hilarious moment from the mother-daughter duo’s interaction with the “Twilight” star, she said, “She’s on FaceTime today to her dad who’s covered in blood with huge black circles around his eyes. We’re just like, ‘It’s fine.'”
Pattinson and Waterhouse have kept most details, including the name of their daughter, in wraps. Back in 2024, the songstress posed with the baby’s back to the camera for a British Vogue cover. At the time, her daughter was only three months old.
The “Loveland” artist paid a tribute to her daughter on the little one’s second birthday in her Instagram Stories. She posted a black-and-white snap from her Elmo-themed party.
