Prince William has one relative who makes sure he stays humble all the time: his first cousin, not his wife, Kate Middleton. It is reported that the two share a good relationship. Moreover, she is the daughter of Princess Anne and Mark Phillips.
Zara Tindall is described as someone who can challenge the future king, sources claim
According to a report by the Daily Mail, Zara Tindall has always been there to help Prince William stay humble and is one of the people he trusts most. Apart from that, she is also helping to raise a future king, as she is the godparent to Prince William and Kate Middleton’s oldest son, George.
Shedding light on the relationship between William and Tindall, royal author Robert Jobson told the outlet, “Zara and William are eighteen months apart. She was there in 1997, watching a boy she had grown up with become public property inside a week. Very few people alive can say that. None of them work for him. So she can tell the heir to the throne he is being pompous, and does. He takes it.”
Jobson stated that William and Kate’s eldest son, George, will receive significant help from both members of the monarchy and those without titles. Tindall’s humble upbringing stems from her mother, Princess Anne, choosing not to give her children royal titles. Thus, with Tindall and her husband, Mike, as George’s godparents, he has seemingly been learning to be down-to-earth as well. The outlet added, “George is growing up among adults who are either dazzled by the institution or depend on it. Some are both. He is easy with her the way children are easy with adults who want nothing from them. Indeed, it is the same for Charlotte and Louis.”
