Jonah Hill’s New Martial Arts Confidence Sparks Online Mockery

Famous American actor Jonah Hill recently appeared on the SmartLess podcast, where he spoke proudly about his Brazilian jiu-jitsu training. During the conversation, the BAFTA Award winner also issued a strong warning, saying, “I would fucking annihilate you,” if anyone body-shamed him.

However, many fans did not take the comment seriously and instead started mocking Hill online.

Jonah Hill Claimed Martial Arts Training Made Him Ready To ‘Annihilate’ Anyone Who Disrespects Him

Jonah Hill’s comments about his Brazilian jiu-jitsu training and his strong warning did not sit well with influencer Kevin Clancy, also known as KFC. He shared his thoughts on the matter, prompting reactions from social media users, many of whom did not side with Hill.

Jonah said, “My favorite thing is people are like, ‘Oh, Jonah Hill, fucking fat guy from Superbad,’ and I’m like, ‘I would fucking annihilate you, dude. I’m not kidding you. Try it. If you see me, try it, dude. Bring it. Who’s got it?'”

KFC responded by referencing a famous quote. He said, “A lion doesn’t need to roar to let you know its power.” According to KFC, instead of bragging about his own achievements, Hill would be better off letting other people speak about his skills and accomplishments.

KFC wrote, “Jonah is a very legit BJJ artist but bragging about it ruins it. Let other ppl talk about how great you are, bc when you do that yourself you just come across pretentious and insecure.”

“Particularly when it comes to martial arts! Thats like the antithesis of what it’s all about. Look at the difference in how Tom Hardy talks about BJJ vs this,” he concluded.

After Kevin Clancy shared the video clip and quotes, more social media users criticized Jonah Hill, and the discussion quickly turned into online mockery.

Jonah Hill began training in Brazilian jiu-jitsu in late 2018. He has previously said the practice helped him manage anxiety and confront lifelong fears.
