Kate Middleton and Queen Camilla reportedly played key behind-the-scenes roles in removing former Prince Andrew from frontline royal duties. Insiders claimed the two senior royals quietly backed efforts to protect the monarchy’s future. According to the sources, they urged King Charles and Prince William to take action against Andrew after years of controversy over his ties to Jeffrey Epstein.

The claims come as insiders say Kate Middleton and Queen Camilla have become two of the Royal Family’s most influential figures, even though they usually stay away from public political and official decisions. According to a royal source who spoke to RadarOnline, Andrew’s removal was not the result of a single decision by King Charles but followed lengthy discussions among senior members of the Royal Family.

“Inside the palace, nobody pretends this was just Charles waking up one morning and acting alone,” the insider claimed. “There was a long period of discussion, and throughout that time Kate and Camilla were consistently making the case that the monarchy could not carry Andrew as a working royal or as ‘Prince Andrew’ any longer.”

The source added that although neither woman publicly pushed for Andrew’s removal, “their voices carried a lot of weight.” The insider also claimed that Middleton and Camilla became two of the main people pushing for Andrew’s permanent removal. “People talk about a ‘female touch,’ and it was applied rather brutally in Andrew’s case as Kate and Camilla were the key figures behind and driving forces behind Andrew’s downfall,” the source alleged.

“Kate and Camilla are never going to eclipse William or Charles in public, but behind the scenes they have become incredibly powerful,” the insider claimed, adding both women wanted to protect the monarchy’s long-term reputation. According to the source, they also wanted to make sure William would not inherit a monarchy still overshadowed by Andrew’s controversies.
