Josh Allen is already imagining one very special conversation with his baby daughter years down the road. The Buffalo Bills quarterback recently shared his heartfelt hope for what he wants four-month-old Harper to remember about his first NFL season as a father.

Speaking with “NFL Network” from Bills training camp, Allen was asked to imagine Harper looking back at his career when she turns 18 and asking about the 2026 season. Rather than focusing on statistics or individual accolades, the quarterback revealed that his dream centers around a championship celebration.
“Hopefully she’s sitting there saying, ‘This picture of you holding me on the field under the confetti is pretty cool.’ That’s the vision that I have,” Allen said. This was in reference to the image he hopes to create after a Super Bowl victory.
The 30-year-old explained that he wants his daughter to remember more than football success. He hopes she sees the dedication, unity and love that defined the team throughout the season.
“What I’d tell her is that we work really hard, and that we’re a team that loved each other and accomplished something so great,” Allen said.
The Bills star also acknowledged that achievements on the field are only possible because of the sacrifices made behind the scenes. He praised everyone connected to the team, including the players’ families, for helping make the demanding NFL season possible.
“It takes a lot of sacrifice from those around you, everybody in the building here and outside… all of our wives and girlfriends making sacrifices for us to come out here and do what we do,” Allen said. “But hopefully she can see that there’s a lot of love on this team,” he added.
Fatherhood has already changed Allen’s daily routine. During a recent interview with PEOPLE, he admitted that life with baby Harper has made uninterrupted sleep a rare luxury.
“I love being a dad,” Allen said. He added that while his sleep schedule is “definitely not” what it used to be, he has embraced parenthood.
Allen and actress Hailee Steinfeld, who married in May 2025, welcomed Harper on April 2.
