Ben Affleck celebrated his 54th birthday recently in the best way possible as he spent some family time with his kids, Fin and Samuel, whom he shares with ex-wife Jennifer Garner (via Daily Mail). The former couple also have a 20-year-old daughter, Violet, but she was not there with her father and siblings.
The “Good Will Hunting” star wore a striped white shirt, pairing it with navy blue wide-leg trousers. A black leather belt cinched the trousers at the waist. He completed his look with dark sunglasses and a pair of comfy shoes. Meanwhile, his kids dressed up in tees and shorts for the daytime outing.
Jennifer Garner sported dark green leggings, a black top, and slip-on shoes. She wore her hair in a low updo and topped off the look with brown-tinted sunglasses and a blue baseball cap. While she was not with Affleck and their kids, she was in the same store with a friend of hers.
In January 2026, Ben Affleck revealed why he and Garner let their kids decide if they want to become actors. In a joint interview with Matt Damon at The Rip world premiere, Affleck told E! News, “We really want to give them room to figure out what they want to do. I wouldn’t push them into that. They’re brilliant and lovely and wonderful and we love them and we’re proud of them.”
While Affleck understands that his and Matt Damon’s kids have privileges because of their parents’ careers, he is also grateful for his own upbringing. He explained, “In some way, it was kind of a blessing to anonymity, to struggle, to where we started, which was just in the middle of nowhere.”
