Holte reportedly claimed that LaBelle asked him to leave a home after years of living there. A recent Reddit post described the alleged dispute and attracted significant online attention. However, the circumstances remain based on Holte’s reported account.
The resurfaced story also brought attention to Holte’s political views. He has previously expressed support for Trump publicly. His political stance became particularly notable during a controversy that gained attention online in 2020.
During that controversy, a social media post included the statement, “Everything is so much better under Trump though.” The post was initially associated with former Pennsylvania Republican politician Dean Browning. Holte was later identified as the person connected to the message.
The incident created widespread discussion about Holte and his relationship with LaBelle. Reports have previously described him as both LaBelle’s nephew and adopted son. Those differing descriptions have added complexity to public accounts of their family relationship.
LaBelle has also addressed the political difference within her family previously. The singer has historically supported Democratic politicians, including Barack Obama. Meanwhile, Holte’s public political views have leaned toward Republican politics.
The latest claims suggested that political differences played a role in their family conflict. However, available reporting has not independently established that Trump support caused the alleged eviction. Holte’s reported comments have nevertheless reopened discussion about family disagreements over politics. His previous Trump support remains a documented part of the public story. The alleged fallout with LaBelle, however, remains based on claims that lack independent confirmation.
