Bridgerton star Simone Ashley, who became a fan favorite as Kate Sharma, has sparked romance rumors with a potential new boyfriend. The 31-year-old was spotted holding hands with a man in London’s Notting Hill on August 23. The two were seen walking their dogs together during their afternoon outing.

The man accompanying Ashley has been identified as Jay Jammal, reports Just Jared. He is a Senior Account Executive for Soho Communications. According to his company’s website, he earned a bachelor’s degree in Strategic Communications from the University of Colorado Boulder.

Ashley has remained single since her relationship with businessman Tim Sykes came to an end in December last year after four months of dating. Ashley and her former boyfriend were spotted kissing during the US Open in September 2025. The outing marked their first public appearance as a couple. They were also seen holding hands while sitting courtside at Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York.
Before dating Sykes, Simone was in a relationship with Constantin ‘Tino’ Klein. They met at the 2022 Formula One Grand Prix in Monaco and began dating in March 2023, before breaking up in January 2025.
In March 2025, she told People that she is “defining [her] single era as a time that I don’t wanna waste away. It’s about self-growth, and I am looking for someone who is so confident in themselves and is really ready to have an open heart in the same way I do. And I think that’s hard to find.”
Ashley first caught viewers’ attention as Olivia Hanan in Sex Education between 2019 and 2021. She became a global star after portraying Kate Sharma in the second season of Bridgerton. Alongside her acting work, Ashley has also made a name for herself in the fashion and beauty industry. She recently joined L’Oréal Paris as one of its global ambassadors.
