CardVault held the Palo Alto store’s grand opening on Aug. 15. Brady attended the event and helped mark the opening of the new location. The burglary took place just about one week after the celebration. The store is now hit with an early setback at its new location.
The Palo Alto store marks the 19th CardVault location. The company has been steadily growing its trading card business through several stores in various locations. Brady’s ties with the store helped draw additional attention to the grand opening. The NFL legend attended the event before the burglary happened.
The burglary included damage to the store as well as the theft of the cards. Police are continuing to pursue the investigation of the break-in and the suspects.
