Chris Evans has successfully sold his L.A. home at a price below what he originally demanded.
The actor wanted to wrap up his LA chapter and spend more time with wife Alba Baptista, and their daughter, Alma, on the East Coast.

According to Blast, the “Captain America” star sold his home for $5.38 million, which is $1.61 million lower than the $6.99 million he originally sought. The property was first brought on the market in May 2025 and listed for $6.99 million. After failing to secure a buyer, Evans took the house off the market. It was listed again in June with a reduced list price of $6.39 million.
The $5.38 million sale meant that he got $1.01 million less than the revised price. However, the actor still made roughly $1.86 million profit from the $3.52 million he paid for it in 2013.
The actor had previously revealed his wish to stay close to his East Coast roots. After spending more than a decade in Los Angeles, the actor had decided to stay with his wife and daughter on the East Coast.
“The West Coast is beautiful, and I’ve spent more than a decade in this home enjoying Los Angeles,” Evans told Realtor.com. “But I’ve decided to spend more time on the East Coast. It feels like the right moment to pass this beautiful property to the next owner.”
The 1940s era property is set in a private area of Los Angeles. It sports sweeping views of the city, while being secluded. The area is considered to have some of Hollywood Hills’ most exclusive properties. The residential pocket allows residents to enjoy privacy, while staying near the city’s buzz.
